What to check before renting
- What do I need to rent?
- You must be 18 or older. For the 49cc scooter you need a valid driver's license you have held for a year (an ordinary car license is enough in Florida); for the e-bike no license is needed. You also need a card in your own name for the deposit. The license rules in detail.
- How much is the deposit, and when do I get it back?
- The deposit for each vehicle is in the table above. It is held on your card and released 7 business days after you bring the vehicle back, less anything owed for damage, tolls or tickets.
- How many miles can I ride?
- Each plan includes the miles shown in the table. Whatever the plan, the most is 800 miles a week.
- What if it breaks down?
- Call us. Repairs covered by the rental are ours, and you get another scooter while yours is in.
- What if I bring it back late?
- You have 60 minutes of grace; after that a late return costs $20.00 a day. To keep it longer, ask us to extend before the end date.
- Can I cancel?
- Bookings are not refundable. Read the rental terms before you book.
- Is a helmet included?
- No. Every rider must wear one, and you can rent a helmet at the counter for $10.00.
