Scooters Rental Florida

Moped rental in Miami

A 49cc moped or a Class 2 e-bike, by the day or by the week, from our shop in Brickell. Book online, sign at the counter and ride - or have it delivered.

What you can rent

A 49cc gas scooter - what Florida law calls a moped. Easy to ride, cheap to fill up, and made for Brickell, Downtown, Little Havana and the streets in between. You need a driver's license; an ordinary car license is enough.

A Class 2 e-bike: quiet, no fuel, and no license needed.

Four ways to rent, named as they are on the price list: Vamo Tourist for a day or two, Vamo Local for a week or more, Vamo Gig for work and delivery, paid week by week, and Vamo Freedom, where you pay for the miles you actually ride. The table below shows what each one costs today.

Today's prices

Rent, the refundable deposit and the miles included, for each plan and each vehicle, from the same price list the counter uses. Sales tax (7%) is added at checkout.

Moped rental in Miami: your questions

Do I need a license to rent a moped in Miami?
For the 49cc moped, yes: a valid driver's license you have held for a year. An ordinary car license is enough in Florida - no motorcycle endorsement. The e-bike needs no license. Either way you must be 18 or older. The license rules in detail.
Can you deliver the moped to my hotel or home?
Yes, by appointment. At the extras step choose delivery and type the address: the page tells you whether it is inside our delivery area, and what delivery costs, before you pay.
How much is the deposit?
Each vehicle's refundable deposit is in the table above. It is held on a card in your name and released 7 business days after you bring the vehicle back, less anything owed for damage, tolls or tickets.
How far can I ride?
Each plan includes the miles shown in the table, and the most anyone may ride is 800 miles a week. A moped stays off interstates and expressways; the e-bike may also use the bike lanes.
Can I rent a moped for delivery work?
Yes. Vamo Gig is made for it: billed week by week, with the servicing done by us. Weekly rental for work and delivery.
